Getting started
Flashback records gameplay on the server into a compact binary replay and plays it back on lightweight proxies, on the client or inside Roblox Studio, with play, pause, seek and variable speed. Use it for kill cams, match replays, anti-cheat review, trailers and bug reproduction.
Plugin guide
Install the module, record a play test and scrub through saved replays from the Studio widget. Nothing typed.
Start here →Scripting guide
Record from your own server code, add events and custom channels, then play replays back on any client.
For scripters →Install
Get the Flashback plugin and press Install module in its widget. That puts the Flashback ModuleScript in ReplicatedStorage and a Studio-only helper Script in ServerScriptService.
The module is open source (MIT) with no dependencies, and installs on its own with Wally as kashtheking/flashback; the plugin is paid. See Licensing. The Tests folder inside the module can be deleted from production builds.
