Custom Roblox Website is a Chrome extension that lets you replace the background image of the Roblox website (roblox.com) and adjust its appearance with darkness, blur, and HSL controls. Your privacy matters, and this policy explains exactly what the extension does and does not do with your data.

Data we collect

None. The extension does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data, browsing history, page content, or user activity. No information ever leaves your device, and there are no analytics, tracking, or third-party servers involved.

Data stored on your device

The extension saves your personalization settings locally on your own computer using Chrome's storage API. This includes:

• Your chosen background image (stored locally as a data URL)
• Your appearance settings: darkness, blur, hue, saturation, and brightness

This data stays on your device so your settings persist between sessions. It is never uploaded or transmitted anywhere.

Permissions

• storage / unlimitedStorage — to save your settings and chosen image locally on your device.
• Access to roblox.com — required only to apply your custom background styling to the Roblox website. The extension does not read, collect, or transmit any page content.

Remote code

The extension does not load or execute any remote code. All scripts, styles, and the default image are bundled within the extension package.
